TRAINING
SAQA Act 58 of 199 requires that companies operating in South Africa sumit annually its Skills Development Plan. The rationale behind the above is to encourage companies to invest in the skill development of its workforce to ensure career mobility and portability of skills. VETAD's tream is made of facilitators , assessors and moderators with industry specific knowledge to provide high quality services.
University does not prepare potential NGO Directors , Managers with the skills of managing people, finance and human resources. In most cases , they rely on the expertise of qualified staff to run the business in the areas they have no expertise. Many organisations have run into trouble because of unscrupulous staff who have used the ignorance of their director or managers to swindle funds under their watch . For the above reasons , VETAD has developed training materials palatable for non expert staff such as Human Resource for Non Human Resources Managers in order to equip top level managers with skills to be able to control their workplace.
